Billy Bob Thornton has criticised celebrities who discuss political issues, as he shared why he chooses to keep his opinions to himself.
Appearing on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, the Landman actor said that he doesn’t want to voice his political preferences as “I don’t know anything about it”.
“I don’t want to force it down somebody else’s throat ’cause I’m not an expert on that.”
Mandel agreed with Thornton as he questioned why the public “put so much gravitas [into] this group of people that pretends things”.
“Just because you played a doctor doesn’t mean you are a doctor.”
