Kota Kinabalu: There is urgent need for strong political will to make progress in conservation of biodiverse regions and the many areas under the care of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission of Protected Areas (WCPA).
IUCN is an international organisation working in the field of nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. It is involved in data gathering and analysis, research, field projects, advocacy and education.
