Championship club Birmingham City are considering a move for a former Premier League boss.

The struggling giants will approach Steve Cooper as he looks to return to management.

Cooper has not worked since he lost his job at Nottingham Forest a few weeks ago.

Per The Sun, Cooper is very unlikely to make the move at this stage of the season.

He may have interest in the Birmingham job in the summer, but not at this point in time.

City fired previous coach Wayne Rooney, who only lasted 13 weeks and less than 50 games.
