Sofiane Boufal is delighted he stayed at Southampton.
The Morocco international was expected to be sold this summer after spending last season on loan at Celta Vigo.
He made his first start since last year in Tuesday's Carabao Cup win over Fulham.
Speaking after the game, Boufal said: "I'm very happy and very excited to be back at this club.
"I've worked very hard to be on this team and I'm very happy with my start to the season. I hope I will do better."
