KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 ― It’s finally happening, Jisoo of Blackpink will make her solo debut on March 31.
Fresh of Blackpink’s Malaysian concert on Saturday, the 28-year-old singer revealed a teaser poster for her yet-to-be-named release on Instagram yesterday.
The teaser poster captures a wide field with a bright red cloth draped at the bottom with the message: ‘coming soon’.
Many Blinks are wildly speculating the meaning of the teaser image on social media in anticipation of its release.
According to a statement from YG Entertainment, Rose’s project will be a ‘blockbuster’ and reportedly has the highest production budget undertaken.
YG added that filming for Jisoo’s music videos are currently being filmed overseas under ‘strict confidentiality’.
Jisoo will be the final member of Blackpink to release a solo project.
Jennie was the first with Solo in 2018, followed by Rose with R and Lisa with LaLisa in 2021.
