SEOUL, Oct 6 —Jisoo of Blackpink is set to drop a surprise duet this month, sparking a wave of speculation and excitement among fans worldwide.
The singer only teased a photo on her Instagram captioned: “A duet is near.”
In the background a silhouette of a man can be seen and a source told the Korea Herald that it’s former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
Little is known about the track otherwise but it’s likely to be dropping soon before the end of the month.
Jisoo last had a comeback with her EP Amortage on February 14 this year and the title track Earthquake.
She is currently on tour with her fellow Blackpink members — perhaps the first live performance on the song will be at a concert, much like the group’s recent single Jump.
