GET ready BLINKS and Lillies, as BLACKPINK's dancing diva Lisa is set to have her own documentary film, titled "Always Lalisa," arriving this October.
Lisa officially announced the documentary on her social media pages. Directed by Sue Kim, the film follows Lisa's extraordinary journey to stardom as she navigates her solo career and acting work, establishes her own brand, and balances her private life.
“Following Lisa on this transformative and thrilling year has been a true honor and a cinematic gift,” Kim said. “There have been so many moments on her journey that I think will surprise people and give a glimpse into her world that no one’s ever seen before. I’m excited for viewers to watch the film and witness this extraordinary moment in her life.”
"Always Lalisa" is set to premiere on Oct. 12. However, fans will have a chance to watch it earlier, as the documentary will stream exclusively on YouTube Premium. Tickets for the IMAX screenings of the film will go on sale on Sept. 9.
New music video on the way
Aside from the documentary, Lisa will also drop her new solo single, "SaWaDiKa," on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The song will be part of her new EP, "Press Play," which is set for release on Oct. 23.
