TWO men were burnt to death in an accident on the Duta-Ulu Kelang Highway (DUKE) yesterday after a BMW 328i that was driven at high speed, lost control and skidded into a road divider.
Police said the accident occurred at approximately 5.10 am and is believed to have been caused by the driver failing to control the vehicle.
"The accident involved a BMW 328i Sport driven by a 22-year-old local man who is a student at the University of Brisbane, Australia.
"Also in the vehicle was a 21-year-old local male passenger who is also a Sunway University student and a 20-year-old Singaporean male passenger," police said.
As a result of the accident, the driver and front passenger were confirmed dead at the scene by medical officers from the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
Both victims were believed to be trapped in the burning vehicle.

"The rear passenger, a Singaporean, managed to get out of the vehicle before the fire broke out and suffered minor injuries to his hands and legs.
"The Singaporean man was taken to HKL for further treatment.”
Police had investigated the scene, obtained closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the area and conducted initial questioning of the survivors.
The identification process for the two burnt victims will be carried out through DNA analysis.
