KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional (BN) is prepared to work with like-minded parties to help form a new Sabah government, says its chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic).
He said BN respects the outcome of the 17th Sabah state election and thanked voters for their support, noting the results show the coalition remains a relevant bloc in the state.
Reporters gathered at the BN headquarters in Karamunsing were informed that the scheduled 11.30pm press conference would not take place.
Zahid called on Sabahans to remain calm and united as discussions on forming the new government continue.
He added that safeguarding stability should be the shared priority as the state navigates the post-election period.
