Boca Juniors coach Sebastian Battaglia admits he hopes to sign Inter Milan midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The veteran is expected to leave Inter this summer.
Battaglia stated: "A player of his level would be good for the whole of Argentinian football. He has a lot of experience, we know he can give a lot to the team.
“He would give us a leap in quality. We'll see if a deal progresses and if, if it does, the time will come to talk to him.
"Today there was no opportunity, I don't know what his situation is."
