KENINGAU: The body of a man was found on the banks of Matanoi River near Kampung Riting Apin-Apin, here, on Monday night.
District Police Chief DSP Nor Rafidah Kasim said the body was found by the Kampung Riting Village Chief at 9pm while he was inspecting the gravity pipe water system in the village.
She said initial investigation showed the deceased could have fallen into the river while catching fish.
