
Kota Kinabalu: The body of a baby girl wrapped with a towel was found in a rubbish bin at a shopping mall here on Thursday night.
City Acting Police Chief Supt Kalsom binti Idris said a cleaning company supervisor made the discovery at 9.40pm.
She said a police team was dispatched to the scene upon receiving a complaint.
“A note stating ‘I am sorry and I am asking for help to look for a suitable place for my child. Thank you for your help. Please don’t criticise me. I also do not want this to happen’ was found,” she said.
