
PENAMPANG: The body of a 33-year-old man was discovered in a drain along Jalan Kota Kinabalu-Papar, in front of Lok Kawi Camp in Putatan, Tuesday, several days after his family reported him missing.
The discovery was reported to police at 8.35am by general workers cleaning the area, according to Acting Penampang Police Chief DSP Sammy Newton.
Initial investigations revealed that the man’s motorcycle crashed into the drain after he lost control of it while heading towards Papar from Kota Kinabalu.
The body has been sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for post-mortem.
