
SANDAKAN: The body of a man who went missing after a boat collision off Pulau Tanjung Batu was found on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Simran Asarap, 23, was found by civilians at 3.34pm a kilometre away from where he had been reported missing.
Family members took the body home after police pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Firefighters from Sandakan commanded by Shamri Sipin were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call at 12.44am on Monday.

The search ended at 4.40pm with the discovery of the man’s body.
