Kota Kinabalu: Police are investigating the suspected murder of a 63-year-old construction manager whose body was found near Tanjung Aru Beach around 2.30pm on Wednesday.
His son lodged a police report last Monday (Oct 31) afternoon when the victim disappeared after going out for dinner the night before.
According to the report, the son had tried calling and showing up at the victim’s place of work but to avail.
Based on a tip-off by the victim’s colleagues, his car was later found parked behind a restaurant at Hilltop, Luyang.
“This police report is lodged to attain CCTV recordings in the area,” the report read. It is learnt that the victim was an avid golfer whose buddies had provided further details.
