Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has welcomed the appointment of new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino was formally named new Chelsea manager today.
Boehly said: "Our sporting staff has carried out a thorough and thoughtful process, which we on the board are proud of.
"We are beyond satisfied that Mauricio is coming here to Chelsea. He is a world-class coach who has a fantastic CV. We are all looking forward to having him in the fold."
Chelsea state that Pochettino has signed a two-year contract with the option of a further year.
