Bologna coach Thiago Motta says Juventus deserved their victory on Sunday.
Motta is yet to pick up a first point since replacing Sinisa Mihajlhovic last month.
“It was a very complicated match this evening. We conceded the first goal on a counter-attack, but Juve deserved the victory," he said.
“Juve are a strong side and they caused us problems, we couldn't get out of our half and when we did, they defended well.
“We need to improve in every area, but I also saw positive things tonight, even if the result was negative. We must work and focus on the next game against Sampdoria.
“I never said the system wasn't important, I said it was not the only important thing. The whole team must be able to give Marko Arnautovic more support, so we attack in numbers, move the ball around and force the opposition to chase the ball.
“We have quality, we can improve, but clearly it was difficult to create chances for Arnautovic this evening. I have only recently arrived, but I am convinced we can improve. It is a good squad, the players have belief and the next game with Sampdoria is important."
