TAMPARULI: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah’s Tamparuli candidate Bonaventure Boniface says he aims to transform the constituency into a youth-friendly and competitive area if given the mandate on Nov 29.
He said his experience as a former lecturer drives his plan to establish a Youth Skills Institute here to strengthen training opportunities for young people.
Speaking after the GRS Mega Tour at the Tamparuli Tamu grounds, he said small industries such as automotive workshops and baking businesses could provide steady income for local youths.
Dr Bonaventure added that the initiative goes beyond election promises, stressing that skills development is key to addressing basic challenges faced by young people in the area.
He faces a crowded field of rivals in Tamparuli, including candidates from Star, Upko, Parti Impian Sabah, Warisan, PKDM, Anak Negeri, Parti Rumpun and five independents.
