SEN. Bong Go reaffirmed his commitment to public service after receiving the Most Outstanding Senator award at the Gawad Gintong Sinag, organized by Leadership for Educational Advancement and Development (LEAD) Philippines–Global, in Manila on Oct. 17.
Go said his dedication to serving the people will remain unchanged regardless of recognition, stressing that public service should be driven by genuine concern for the people.
He congratulated his fellow awardees and commended the organizers, led by LEAD Global Chairman Mario Lucero, for recognizing individuals from various fields.
“Your recognition of individuals from diverse fields is a powerful way of celebrating talent, passion and dedication,” he said.
Go vowed to work harder and bring public service closer to poor and vulnerable communities.
He urged fellow awardees to continue contributing to their communities and use their influence to inspire others.
