Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl says they'll happily welcome back Jadon Sancho.
BVB and Manchester United are in advanced talks over Sancho re-signing on-loan for the Bundesliga giants.
Kehl said, "He has written a fantastic story at Borussia Dortmund, the contact has never been broken.
"His exceptional qualities are well known. But I'm saying that on principle and not because I want to comment on any rumour here."
There is hope Sancho will join BVB's training camp in Marbella over the next 48 hours.
