Bournemouth did not show enough urgency in their first-half performance against Stoke City in the Carabao Cup.

Despite winning the game 2-0 and progressing to the fourth round, coach Andoni Iraola was critical of his players post-game.

He admitted that they took too long in getting going, which could have cost them against a better team.

He said after the game, per Daily Echo: Especially the Cup, I think the most important thing is to win the next round.

But it's true that similar to Swansea, I think we were slow to start the game.

I think we didn't have this sense of urgency that you need, especially when you play at home and you are the Premier League side.

Almost anything didn't happen in the first half.

We were slow even, throw ins, taking the free kicks."
