Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil admits the pace of Antonio Semenyo earned him a start against Arsenal.
O'Neil, whose side nearly got a point but lost 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium, was asked why the young forward played.
On preferring Semenyo to Jaidon Anthony, O'Neil said that pace was the key factor behind his decision.
He told reporters post-game: Just a counter-attack threat, just real pace.
I knew that we would need to counter from deep.
I felt we would get our best situations from having real pace up there and we did, we just didn't quite convert them."
