The Italy international has reportedly failed a medical in England.
DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando is reporting concern has been raised by Bournemouth over Castrovilli's past knee surgery, which he underwent a year ago.
Fiorentina and the Cherries had agreed a 12m fee for Castrovilli.
However after this morning's news, the move is now in jeopardy.
