Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing was pleased after their 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.

It was Bournemouth who went in front after half an hour when Dango Ouattara flicked on a corner and Marcos Senesi was left unmarked at the far post to stab home.

Billing later said: "It was a good point I think still we can be a bit disappointed. It was a good game. I think we had chances and we could have avoided their goal so we should be disappointed with not taking all three points. They are a good side.

They are a very energetic side and we knew we had to be up for it and match it and we did that very well. We knew we had to defend well as a team, we looked dangerous going forward and overall a bit disappointed but we go again. I thought it was in and the goal signal wasn't working.

"We defended well, looked dangerous and started to look like a proper team. We take the one point and will try and build on that in the coming games.
