Bournemouth owner Bill Foley admits regret failing to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson in January.
Jackson has impressed at Chelsea since his summer arrival from Villarreal.
However, he almost joined Bournemouth in January, only for a failed medical to see the move collapse.
"Nicolas Jackson, we tried to get him this year, we had him last year but he didn't pass his medical," recalled Foley on Saturday.
"I believe we made a mistake and I'm sorry we didn't get him."
