Arsenal blew a 2-0 lead - and missed a penalty - as they drew 2-2 at West Ham on Sunday.

A close-range finish from Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard's volley had the visitors 2-0 inside the opening 10 minutes. But West Ham fought back first via a Said Benrahma penalty, won by Lucas Paqueta, and then Jarrod Bowen's equaliser.

Between West Ham's goals, Bukayo Saka missed from the spot following Michail Antonio's handball.

Afterwards, Bowen said: "It's a massive point. Coming into this, no one probably expected us to get anything from the game. We used that to our advantage and we went at them.

"If you give them time on the ball they can create. It wasn't the start we wanted but we dug in and nearly nicked it at the end. We started on the front foot but it was two lapses of concentration in the penalty box and we got punished. The character in this group has never gone and we never let our heads go."

He added on his goal: "I made the run and you just hope someone puts it back in the area. I hit it well and saw it go in and the noise from the crowd was unbelievable."
