LAHAD DATU: A 12-year-old boy was found dead, believed to be a victim of crocodile attack, at Sungai Tegupi, here, on Monday.
District Fire and Rescue Station chief, Sumsoa Rashid said his department received a distress call following the incident at 12.06pm via 999.
A team was deployed to the scene about 140km from the station for Search and Rescue (SAR) operation.
“However, the victim was already discovered by the Police before Fire and Rescue team arrival.
“The victim had injuries on his left foot and the back, believed due to the crocodile attack,” he said.
