- Jaxon sustained serious injuries in the fall, which occurred at a premises in Woodhouses, Bishop Auckland, about 2.45pm on Friday while he was with friends.
- He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle, for treatment but died on Tuesday as a result of his injuries.
- Durham Constabulary is investigating the circumstances of the incident, working alongside the Health and Safety Executive.
- Jaxon's family has thanked those who offered support and urged other parents to keep their children away from the area where the incident occurred.
