
- A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor, who was shot dead in Woolwich, south-east London.
- Eghosa Ogbebor was killed on Lord Warwick Street on 2 April, after police were called to reports of a shooting.
- The charged teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court and was remanded into youth detention accommodation.
- He was initially arrested on 4 April, released on bail, then re-arrested on 9 April and charged with murder the following day.
- Several other individuals have been arrested in connection with Eghosa’s death, with some released on bail and one remaining in custody as the investigation continues.
