
Tuaran: A search is being conducted for 13-year-old who went missing after he slipped from a bridge and fell into a river, here, Saturday.
The boy, identified as Mohd Hisham Iskandar Azli, was with five friends on the suspension bridge, prior to the afternoon incident in Kg Telibung.
Tuaran Fire Station Chief Mohd Abd Qawie Abdul Gapar said they received a call about the incident at 2.38pm and a team was sent to the scene.
“So far, we have yet to find the boy and a search is being conducted, starting from the riverbank area,” he said in a statement.

It is unclear how the boy could have slipped and fallen into the river, and the investigation is ongoing.
