SANDAKAN: The death of a 10-year-old boy from food poisoning here last week was caused by food bought by his father, said State Health Director Datuk Dr Asits Sanna on Sunday.
Earlier, it was reported that the boy, Mohd Mifzal Anaqi Muhammad Rizal, had died from food poisoning, and this was confirmed by the Sabah State Education Department (JPNS).
However, it was said that Mohd Mifzal’s food poisoning was not due to food from his school, as his mother also experienced the same symptoms.
