BANK of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has partnered with logistics provider FAST Group to give suppliers faster access to working capital through a digital financing platform, allowing them to receive payment for approved invoices ahead of due dates.
Under the partnership, FAST Group suppliers may use BPI’s Digital Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Program to convert approved receivables into immediate funding, helping them manage operating expenses and other business requirements.
BPI said its fully digital platform allows corporate clients to upload invoices approved for payment, after which suppliers may select which receivables they want to finance and receive funds on the same day.
Suppliers can use the early payments to cover operating expenses, purchase materials, manage inventory, pay employees and meet logistics requirements, while also supporting potential business expansion.
Through the partnership, BPI and FAST Group aim to strengthen supplier liquidity and improve the efficiency of their respective business operations.
The program, launched in 2024, was designed to help suppliers improve cash flow without having to wait for the original payment due dates.
“Strong supply chains are built on strong supplier relationships,” said Louie Cruz, BPI head of institutional banking.
FAST Group joins BPI’s growing roster of corporate clients using the financing platform. The two companies have maintained a banking relationship for more than two decades.
Cesar Villacampa Jr., FAST Group Treasury and Financial Services head, said the partnership would allow FAST to extend financial support to its suppliers beyond its core logistics operations.
BPI reported that transaction volumes under its Digital SCF Program more than tripled in 2025 as more businesses adopted digital working capital solutions.
The bank’s shares on Friday slipped P1.00, or 1.05 percent, to close at P94.00 each.
