
LAHAD DATU: Umno divisions and branches statewide have been urged to be ready as if the General Election (GE) and State Election (PRN) will be held tomorrow.
Sabah Umno election machinery director, Jeffery Noor Mohmed, said Sabah Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin stressed this to members.
“We should not be relax as we think that GE or PRN will not be held in the near future. We should think that tomorrow is election day,” he said.
Also present was Lahad Datu Umno Head, Sharif Musa Sharif Mabul.

Read more According to Jeffery, who is also Putatan Umno division chief, it is important to put the party first.
He said they should put the interests of the party above the interests of certain individuals or factions.
“In a year, we have done many things and we are currently at the final corner where we should strengthen ties and set aside any differences.
“After the party selection, our main focus is the election,” he said, adding members are aware that Sabah Umno is facing various challenges including being considered as opposition in Sabah.
“Being part of Unity Government in the federal should boost the spirit of leadership and members.”
