Kota Kinabalu: Tourism players in the State are urged to brace for the return of Chinese tourists.
Sabah Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Satta) President Datuk Seri Winston Liaw said a reliable source from a hospital in Shenzhen, China told him that travel restrictions will likely be lifted by Jan 9, next year or the latest after Chinese New Year which falls on Jan 22.
“We should be making preparations to welcome Chinese tourists. We still have more than four weeks to do so.
