Braga striker Abel Ruiz has welcomed interest from Valencia.
The Spain U21 international is being linked with VCF this week.
He told AS: 'I am very fond of Valencia because I started there as a child and it is the club of my city. It saddened me to see them fight to avoid relegation when it has always fought to be on top. I had a bad time. The fans and the city deserve to be higher.
"I appreciate both Valencia and Bara for what they have given me and what I have learned there. Therefore, if the door opens, I would be delighted to help either of them because I have a special affection for them.'
