Cremonese sporting director Ariedo Braida is delighted for AC Milan over their Champions League progress.
Milan are into the quarterfinals after seeing off Tottenham.
Former Rossonero chief Braida told TMW: "It was a great coup, for everyone.
"For (Paolo) Maldini, for (Stefano) Pioli, for the players, for the fans who are so many. In the end, it is clear that there is always a path to take. Milan is returning to the top that deserves it. it has a great history but it is evident that at some point the good news stops, as well as the positive results.
"There is no particular secret, there is the activity, the organisation."
He added, "Milan have a good team system, (Mike) Maignan is a good, very good goalkeeper. The three defenders are also fast. That's why I say that you always have to go in search, find players and always improve. Because if one wins a Champions it doesn't mean that they shouldn't win another one.
"Appetite comes with eating, when you start winning you never get tired. You get tired of losing."
