Navy officers, like the police, are tasked with ensuring that the lives of civilians are safe and sound whenever, with the only difference being that they’re charged with water-related incidents.

Recently, a video uploaded by @khaixzaa on TikTok has gone viral which showed two Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) officers jumping into the sea to save a puppy from drowning.

Jumped into the sea to rescue puppy

At the start of the clip, one of the officers leaps into the water and swims towards the puppy with a lifebuoy, who then paddles underneath the bridge to avoid getting caught.

After several minutes, the officer abandons the life buoy and reaches for a bucket which was lowered down to him by a colleague.

However, when he tried to put the puppy into the bucket, it escaped and swam the opposite direction, with the officer hot on its tail.

Seeing that his colleague needed a hand, another officer then jumps into the sea and joined him in catching the dog.

The puppy and eventually caught and dragged back to shore albeit unwillingly.
