Brazilian Football Confederation president Ednaldo Rodrigues played coy yesterday about Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti, off contract in June, is tipped to take charge of Brazil in 2024 - a prospect Rodrigues has happily talked up.
But now Rodrigues is less bullish, having greeted the question only with a smile.
He then said: "It's a job in progress. Anything that changes takes time to adapt.
"(Fernando) Diniz is renewing the national team in a very profound way, with young players who need more time to develop their potential."
