Rising Canadian singer-songwriter Yung Kai is officially making his way to Malaysia for the first time ever this August. Known for his dreamy vocals and viral success, the breakout artist has been turning heads around the world — and now, Malaysian fans will finally get the chance to see him live.
The concert is part of his ‘flower, moon and star’ tour, which includes stops across Asia, including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan. This marks a huge milestone in Yung Kai’s career, as he continues to expand his fanbase far beyond North America.
He first captured global attention with his hit single blue, which dropped in August 2024 and quickly went viral on TikTok. The song’s poetic lyrics and heartfelt delivery resonated with fans across the globe. Inspired by the Chinese drama When I Fly Towards You, the track is deeply personal, written for someone he had a crush on and influenced by the show’s moving soundtrack.
A bedroom artist at heart, Yung Kai crafts music that sits at the intersection of vulnerability and intimacy, drawing inspiration from artists like Laufey, Keshi, and Wave to Earth. His music blends lo-fi elements with emotionally rich songwriting — a formula that’s clearly struck a chord with listeners.

Yung Kai will be performing live in Kuala Lumpur on 27 August 2025 at The Platform, Menara KEN TTDI. Tickets are priced at RM248. This will be his debut show in Malaysia, giving fans the opportunity to experience his music in an intimate and emotional live setting.
Tickets will be available through various sales phases, starting with the artist presale from 28 April, 11 AM MYT to 11.59 PM MYT. Fans can access this presale by joining Yung Kai’s Discord or by checking his official channels.
Following this, Live Nation members can access tickets during the Live Nation presale on 29 April, starting at 11 AM MYT and running until 11.59 PM MYT. Sign up for a free Live Nation membership on the official website to take advantage of this early access.
For the general public, tickets will go on sale from 30 April, 11 AM MYT onwards via GoLive’s website.
