Brendan Kiernan is currently playing for Crystal Palace U21s as a non-contract player.
The 31 year-old is a former Palace academy player and has been helping the young players at the club.
Kiernan works as a councillor to young players who have been rejected in football. He has set up a website where players - both in and out of the game - can reach out for help and advice.
The midfielder has played for AFC Wimbledon, Harrogate, Walsall and Hartlepool in the past.
Kiernan featured in the U21s' draw with Blackburn Rovers.
