Brentford were able to sign Club Brugge striker Igor Thiago this week thanks to his suspension.
The Bees are paying 37m to land the Brazilian.
Voetbal24 says despite a match against AS Eupen, Club Brugge chiefs Vincent Mannaert, Dvy Rigaux and Thiago himself flew to London for medical tests. This was not noticed because of Thiago's suspension.
The 37m due is not entirely for Club Brugge, as Ludogorets negotiated a sell-on percentage when selling Thiago last summer for 8m.
The Bulgarians will receive 3.5m.
