Brentford are said to have put in a club record bid of 35 million for Brennan Johnson.

The Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder is their prime target this summer.

Manager Thomas Frank wants to secure Johnson, especially as they have lost Ivan Toney for the first half of the season.

Per The Telegraph, even such a mammoth offer is not enough to secure Johnson's signature.

Forest have turned down the bid and want even more money if they are to sell their prized asset.

Johnson enjoyed a very productive season, while his versatility is an asset to boss Steve Cooper.
