Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits David Raya will sign permanently for Arsenal.
The goalkeeper is on a season-long loan from the Bees.
"Ramsdale is a very good keeper as well," Frank said at his press conference. "I'm obviously biased towards David as I've worked with him. I know him inside out and what he's capable of.
"In that sense, it's not a surprise [that Raya has taken the No.1 spot] but I think Ramsdale is a very good keeper as well. That's up to Arteta to make that decision.
"I think it would be a surprise if he didn't [sign for Arsenal permanently]. He's gone there and is playing more or less every minute. That's what I expect. If not, then we have another good keeper back [at the club]."
