Brentford boss Thomas Frank says he's happy with the progress of Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Denmark winger has made 12 appearances so far this season.
Frank said, "It's good for Mikkel physically. You have to try to understand that I see a huge potential in Mikkel Damsgaard and there was a reason why I picked him up over here.
"I feel he can help make us a better football team. Mikkel comes from a place where he sat out with illness and injuries all last year. He had to be built all the way up.
"We have reached a good distance, although we have not reached our goal yet. However, it is not the same as having to be on target before he can play. It was important for me to point out. He takes steps in the right direction, there is no doubt about that. So he just has to keep going."
