Brentford boss Thomas Frank was excited about his wing duo after last night's derby win against Fulham.
Frank highlighted Mikkel Damsgaard's performance after the Denmark international's first start in the Premier League since October.
It was very pleasing to see Mikkel do very well today," he said.
I played him because Mikkel has trained very well for the last three or four weeks he's looking sharp and played with intensity.
It was the moment to play his type as the no.8 and he did well. He looked sharp on the ball and did well in the pressure. He got us out of tricky situations. It was pleasing to see.
We're very privileged to have a player of Mikkel's talent. He was out for almost a year and it takes time, but of course he's a bit impatient, I'm a bit impatient, everyone is a bit impatient."
Frank also hailed Kevin Schade's impact. The German was introduced during the second half and assisted Brentford's third goal.
I was so pleased with that," said Frank.
Kevin has got good potential and he's shown glimpses of that in training, when he's done some top offensive actions. But he hasn't showed it in the games.
"We've been building him gradually and he came on and did fantastic."
