Brentford boss Thomas Frank says Newcastle deserved their win on Saturday.
The Magpies won 5-1 at St James' Park.
Frank said, "It is the most difficult part of being a football manager after you lose a game, especially when you lose like we did today. You have to try and stay calm.
"Newcastle won fair and square and it is difficult to win matches when you make four mistakes. I live by the philosophy we win or learn and we definitely learned a lot today.
"I have this 24 hour rule. Win and celebrate for 24 hours. They need to get it out of their system, bounce back and come out flying next Friday."
