Brentford boss Thomas Frank admitted mixed emotions after their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
The Bees had the lead through Kevin Schade before Joachim Andersen's second-half equaliser.
Frank said: We played a good first half, we were on top, we dominated, and scored a fantastic goal. In the first half, and overall, I would have liked us to create a few more dangerous moments.
But I thought we very good in the aggressive, high pressure. I thought we closed Crystal Palace down well.
Second half, the intention was to go out, go for 2-0, to be positive, to still go for it but, for whatever reason, we couldn't. We also need to acknowledge that Crystal Palace are a good team.
They were a tiny bit more on top. I thought that we were in okay control defensively, but you take the risk of going deeper and then they can create more.
But I think, besides Mark's double save, the header and the next save, I felt like we kept them relatively quiet.
The disappointing thing is that the goal we conceded, we could have avoided, but it's a very tricky situation. That happens.
I think it's a relatively even game where we need to find a way to get out of with three points because we were leading 1-0."
