Brentford defender Kris Ajer will miss the Premier League kickoff.
Ajer has undergone surgery on a hamstring injury and will not be available for Brentford in their Premier League opener against Leicester next month.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank told The Athletic, "He was operated on right after last season.
"He is ahead of schedule and it looks good."
But Frank says the Foxes game will come too soon for the stopper.
"It will take a little longer."
