Brentford defender Sergio Reguilon admits he's baffled the treatment he's had from Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.
Reguilon is currently on-loan with the Bees, having spent the first-half of the season in a similar deal at Manchester United.
He said, "I did not understand, and I still do not understand, my departure from Tottenham. Postecoglou was counting on me.
"In the preseason he played like a normal player, I was in the team dynamic. It was strange.
"I know I can play for Spurs, but in many aspects of football the player is not in control. I don't understand why one day it's 'yes' and the next day it's 'no'. I don't think it's a performance issue, I think it's another reason, this is business."
