Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi has urged fans not to barrack Alexis Mac Allister upon his return with Liverpool today.
It marks Mac Allister's first appearance back at Falmer stadium since his summer sale by Brighton.
De Zerbi said: We wrote messages two months ago. Alexis is a top guy.
I hope our fans celebrate Alexis because he deserves a good welcome.
He was always a positive guy, he was one of the most important players to reach the Europa League.
I can say to give him a great welcome because he deserves it.
He played always with the right attitude, the right passion.
After the World Cup he came back with great motivation, he felt our results, the emotion, the big motivation to reach the Europa League last season and to me he deserves a fantastic welcome."
